Welcome to Kari Romano’s State Farm Agency! I’ve proudly called The Woodlands home since 2002, and it’s a joy to own an agency right where I live, work, and play. I’m a grateful wife and mother of five wonderful children. I was born in South Korea and raised in Minnesota. I later attended Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois, before moving to Texas to start my career.

My oldest son earned a Chemistry degree from Texas A&M, a Biology degree from the University of Houston, and a Master’s in Medical Science from UNT. He now oversees cancer research trials across the country. My oldest daughter graduated from Cal Poly with a Chemical Engineering degree and has gained experience with NASA, SpaceX, and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory for the Department of Defense; she now works with a Commercial Space Station start-up. My younger son graduated from UT Austin with a BS in Exercise Physiology and currently works in pollution control. My two youngest attend local schools and love being the “babies” of our family!

I’m honored that our agency has been named The Woodlands’ Preferred Agency every year since 2015 and inducted into The Woodlands Business Hall of Fame in 2021. My dedicated team and I have earned State Farm’s Chairman’s, Ambassador Club, and Honor Club Awards. I also hold the ChFC and CLU designations, demonstrating my commitment to advanced financial professionalism. Our State Farm Agency provides comprehensive insurance, retirement, and knowledgeable insurance relocation support. In addition to leading my agency, I serve as an elected Board Director for MUD District 95 and teach financial literacy classes to at-risk individuals. In 2021, I was deeply honored to receive the Friend of Education award from CISD for philanthropy within the school system.
